Villa Due Valli is an 18th century villa perched high upon a hill in the enchanting Monferrato area of Piedmont in northwest Italy. The villa overlooks two valleys and is built on three levels. It has been lovingly restored with respect for its original architecture and building materials, yet incorporates all modern amenities - including a swimming pool.

The ground and middle floors have been converted into two autonomous vacation apartments with full kitchens so that you can have a relaxing, self-catered Italian holiday.

The villa’s owners, Ken & Belinda Crofutt, are a couple of expats - he is a bilingual Californian and she is a tri-lingual Anglo-Australian - who have lived in the area for more than 25 years. Both Ken & Belinda would be more than happy to share their extensive knowledge of the local Piedmontese culture, historical sites, wineries, festivals and cuisine.

The Monferrato itself - famous for its world-class fine wines, truffles and wild boar - is a huge rural area of rolling hills with its slopes covered in acre after acre of vineyards and woods.

This unique area holds a vast array of wonders for you to discover – hundreds of ancient hilltop villages, majestic castles, out-of-the-way inns, family wineries, hidden chapels & churches and dozens of soul-calming sanctuaries & nature reserves.

The area can be explored via an extensive network of trails for hiking, mountain-biking and horseback riding… or perhaps you would prefer to experience the area by car, slowly winding along the famous “wine roads”, sampling the local wines and stopping off at one of the many village trattorias to treat yourselves to the uniquely delicious local cuisine.
